
Vanessa Silveyra, LPC, ATR-P, is an art therapist and licensed counselor with a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Master’s degree in Art Therapy and Counseling from PennWest University. She has additional training in trauma-informed care and autism spectrum disorder.
Vanessa integrates art therapy with client-centered, strength-based approaches, mindfulness, and somatic techniques to support executive functioning, frustration tolerance, emotional awareness, and healthy coping skills. She primarily works with children and adolescents ages 3–18 who are navigating emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral challenges, anxiety, and trauma. Vanessa is committed to creating a safe, structured, and culturally responsive space where young people feel understood, empowered, and supported in building resilience and confidence.
