 Molly Michaels, LPC, ATR, is a licensed clinical counselor and registered art therapist with three years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and young adults. She earned her master’s degree in Art Therapy and Counseling from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has additional training in trauma, grief, and LGBTQIA+ concerns, including work with trans and gender-expansive children.

Molly integrates art making into sessions and approaches therapy through a creative lens. She draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and strength-based practices to support clients facing life transitions, anxiety, depression, self-harm, school-related stress, and complex family dynamics such as divorce or sibling conflict. In addition to individual and group therapy, she has facilitated sibling sessions and presented art therapy experientials to both professionals and children.

Molly is committed to creating an authentic, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their stories, connect with their strengths, and find meaningful ways to move forward.
