Jenny Wise, LCPC, ATR, is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Registered Art Therapist with over 20 years of experience providing trauma-informed mental health care to children, adolescents, adults, and families. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education and a Master’s degree in Art Therapy and Counseling. Jenny has experience in a variety of settings including schools, residential treatment, community mental health programs, and other therapeutic environments supporting children and families.
Jenny works with children and adolescents navigating anxiety, trauma, emotional and behavioral challenges, and difficulties related to emotional regulation and attachment. She also supports parents and caregivers who are seeking guidance around parenting challenges, family relationships, and supporting children through transitions or emotional difficulties.
Her therapeutic approach is integrative and relationship-centered, drawing from evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed strategies, and attachment-based interventions. Jenny incorporates art therapy when clinically appropriate to support reflection, insight, and alternative ways of expressing and processing emotions.
Jenny believes therapy is most effective when clients feel safe, respected, and understood. She strives to create a supportive and non-judgmental environment where clients and families can explore their experiences, strengthen relationships, and build practical tools for meaningful and lasting change.
